Abstract

Final year students have the responsibility to compile and complete a thesis and there are also many other responsibilities that require a student to be able to think ahead about what stages must be carried out after completing formal education. at the age of 20's individuals will experience a period of quarter life crisis caused by demands from internal and external aspects in final year students. Students must have a sense of gratitude for what they have achieved so that they make themselves think positively which will provide peace for themselves. A survey was conducted on 60 final year students of Riau Islamic University where 70% of them had anxiety about their future. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between gratitude and quarter life cricis in final year students of Riau Islamic University. The subjects in this study amounted to 390 respondents. The research sampling technique is cluster sampling method of data analysis technique using produck moment, obtained a correlation coefficient value of r = -0.623 with a significance of 0.000. This shows that there is a significant negative relationship between gratitude and quarter life cricis in final year students. It can be interpreted that the higher the gratitude, the lower the quarter life crisis in final year students at Riau Islamic University.
