Abstract
Problems related to regulasi diri in learning are a common phenomenon that occurs in students today. Some students spend their time just playing or entertainment rather than academic matters. Researchers conducted a study with the aim of finding out whether there is a relationship between regulasi diri and parental support from students of SMPN 1 Siak Hulu. This study, with a population of 1054 people and a sample of 290 students, was calculated using the slovin formula. The analytical method used is quantitative analysis by testing the Pearson product moment correlation. Based on the test results, it is known that there is a strong relationship between parental social support and regulasi diri in the value of r = 0.730 or p (0.000) < alpha (0.000) < alpha (0.05). These results indicate that the higher the social support of parents, the better the selfregulation of student learning and conversely, the lower the social support of parents, the less regulasi diri of student learning will be.
