Abstract

The Bank's front liner employees are the frontline in serving customers, while the task of the Bank's front liner is to provide information and solutions to problems related to service services at the bank. This study aims to determine the relationship between Psychological Capital and Burnout in Bank front liner employees. The subjects in this study were front liner bank employees in Pekanbaru City with cluster random sampling techniques. The data collection method using the Psychological Capital scale by Luthans, et al. (2007) amounted to 24 items and the Burnout scale, namely The Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) amounted to 22 items. The statistical analysis used was the pearson product moment that showed the value of the correlation coefficient r = -0.96 with p of 0.336 (p > 0.05). The conclusion obtained is that there is a negative correlation between psychological capital and burnout in front liner bank employees in Pekanbaru. This can be interpreted to mean that the higher the psychological capital, the lower the burnout, and vice versa, the lower the psychological capital, the higher the burnout in front liner bank employees in Pekanbaru.
