Abstract
Marital satisfaction is a positive feeling marked by the fulfillment of aspects of marriage both specifically and as a whole. If the factors that can affect marital satisfaction are not met, it will cause anxiety. Anxiety is a feeling of fear and worry in everyday life so that it can affect the function of life. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of anxiety on marital satisfaction in the wives of members of the Indonesian Air Force who undergo long-distance marriages. The population in this study amounted to 150 people selected using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The analysis used in this study is simple linear regression, using the SPSS version 26.0 for windows. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of anxiety on marital satisfaction in the wives of members of the Indonesian Air Force who undergo long-distance marriages R = 0.364, p > = 0.005. The value of the contribution of anxiety to marital satisfaction is 13.2 while other influencing factors are 86.8. This shows that the effect of anxiety on marital satisfaction in the wives of members of the Indonesian Air Force who undergo long-distance marriages in this study is 13.2%.
