Abstract

This study aims to determine the income level of fishermen in Langgam Village, Langgam District, Pelalawan Regency, and to analyze the factors that influence fishermen's income. This research was conducted using multiple regression analysis method. The results of this study indicate that: the variable capital has a positive and significant effect on fishermen's income, this is because the greater the capital spent, the more income earned. The length of work variable has a negative and insignificant effect on fishermen's income, this is because increasing working hours will actually incur the required costs, so the income earned will decrease. The mileage variable has a positive and significant effect on fishermen's income, this is because the farther the distance traveled, the catch will also increase, so that the income earned increases. The variables of capital, length of work, distance traveled, jointly affect the income variable.
