Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in learning the ability to free throw in basketball games through audio-visual media for students of SMA Negeri 1 Pasir Penyu. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The form of this research is classroom action research, the research subjects of the students of class XI IPA2 SMA Negeri 1 Pasir Penyu are 29 people. This research technique is total sampling. The data analysis technique uses a performance test, namely doing a free throw basketball practice, then the test results are evaluated. From the implementation of cycle I and the results there were 13 students who achieved the KKM score (44.8%) and 16 students who had not reached the KKM score (55.1%), followed by the implementation of cycle II and the results increased by the number of 29 students who reached the KKM score (100 %). Thus it can be concluded that there is an increase in learning free throw basketball through audio visual media in class XI IPA2 SMA Negeri 1 Pasir Penyu with an increase of (100%).
