Abstract

This research was conducted at Koperasi Pegawai Negeri SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman which aims to see whether the accounting applied to the Koperasi Pegawai Negeri SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The practice of this research is understanding the suitability of accounting carried out by the Public Service Cooperative of SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman with generally accepted accounting principles and data techniques in research using interview and documentation methods. In analyzing the data, the writer used descriptive method which compared the collected data with related theories and presented in the research. By having reported the research so that the discussion can be concluded that the accounting statement at the Public Service Cooperative of SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman is not in accordance with the current accounting.
