Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of Accountability and Transparency of Financial Management at the Teratak Buluh Village Government, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency with indicators according to Minister of Home Affairs Regulation number 20 of 2018. The location of this research was in Teratak Buluh Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. This research is a qualitative research by comparing the existing practice and theory, then a conclusion is drawn to be presented in the thesis. Interviews were conducted with 5 informants representing several demographic characteristics, such as region, gender, place of residence, and age group. The results of this study are the stages of planning, administration, reporting, accountability and transparency are not in accordance with the indicators and Minister of Home Affairs Regulation number 20 of 2018, because the Teratak Buluh village finance chief did not make a general cash assistant book, there were errors in recording realization reports, there are no sanctions set for errors/omissions in the implementation of activities, there are no measurable outcomes, and there is no transparency in the financial management process. village to the community.
