Abstract
This study aims to determine the description of stress coping mechanism of students who are writing their thesis during the pandemic. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The number of samples taken was 100 people who were selected using the snowball sampling technique. The data collection tool used is the scale of the stress coping mechanism modified by the author. The data processing method used is descriptive analysis in the form of grouping variables and univariate. In general, the students who became respondents in this study had a problem focused coping mechanism were 56 people (56.0%), and 44 respondents (44.0%) used emotion focused coping.
