Abstract
The Influence of Using WhatsApp Sticker to Dependence of Using WhatsApp On The Students In SMA Negeri 9 Mandau Nadia Nurul Qur’Ani 189110018 WhatsApp has been doing development about their fiturs, especially about theirs sticker. This research aims to know does using WhatsApp sticker give influence of dependency of using WhatsApp on the students in SMA Negeri 9 Mandau. Theory of this research is Technological Determinism by Marshall McLuhan. This research also uses quanitative method with data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires for 85 students in any grades and majors in SMA Negeri 9 Mandau. The result of this research is there are influence of using WhatsApp sticker of dependency of using WhatsApp on the students in SMA Negeri 9 with the big influence is 10.4%. In addition, all data used in this study is valid and reliable. The regression test results also produce a constant value of 27.720 and a regression value of 0.374 which also indicates that the regression coefficient value is positive.
