Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parental attention and physical education learning achievement for Class X students at SMK Negeri 4 Pekanbaru City. This type of research is simple correlation. The population in this study were students of class X majoring in DKV, totaling 24 children. The sampling technique is purposive sampling, which is taking a random sample. The research instrument is a questionnaire and report cards scores. The results of the calculations carried out obtained a correlation index of 0.659. The value of r table df=24 is 0.404, therefore 0.659 > 0.404, with a yield coefficient of 0.659, and lies in the interval 0.60-0.799. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between parents' attention to the achievement of children who take futsal extracurricular activities at SMK Negeri 4 Pekanbaru City.
