Abstract

The psychological characteristics of teenagers consist of five aspects such as aspect of capacity, belief, awareness, motivation, and provision. This research aims to know the characteristic description of entrepreneurship psychology of teenagers. The population of this research were 206 students of Muhammadiyah Vocational High School 1 Pekanbaru. The technique of selecting the samples was by using purposive sampling. The measurement instrument in this research was the scale of entrepreneurship psychological characteristics containing 31 items. Data were analyzed by using CFA analysis test and descriptive analysis test. The research results show that the aspect of belief and motivation are dominant in describing the entrepreneurship characteristics of teenaters at Muhammadiyah Vocational High School 1 Pekanbaru City. There is significant difference between males and females towards the willingness of doing entrepreneurship, and it can be seen that the research results also show that there already are the characteristics of entrepreneurship in the students of Muhammadiyah Vocational High School 1 Pekanbaru City, until they need training in order to improve their entrepreneurship character and ability.
