Abstract

The Batching Plant is a heavy equipment used for the production of readymix concrete. The use of batching plant heavy equipment can increase the efficiency and productivity effectiveness of the company in producing readymix concrete. Productivity is a fundamental factor that influences and determines the ability of a company to compete in the construction industry. The research objective was to determine the total duration of production, the amount of productivity, the comparison of productivity to the productivity standards at PT.RMB and to find out the factors that influence productivity. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out by direct observation, interviews and time study approaches. The time steady approach aims to determine the cycle time needed to complete a work activity. Then the primary and secondary data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative methods to answer the predetermined problem formulations. The results of this research are about the analysis of cycle times and the productivity of heavy equipment batching plants on FC Concrete. 10 obtained a silus time of 2,93 minutes with a productivity of 103,84 m / hour, FC. 19 obtained a cycle time of 2,76 minutes with a productivity of 110,27 m / hour and FC. 25 obtained a cycle time of 2,80 minutes with a productivity of 109,73 m / hour. For the results of comparative analysis of productivity to the standard value of productivity PT.RMB, namely, the quality of concrete FC.10 an increase of 15,38%, for FC.19 an increase of 22,53%, and an increase of FC.25 of 21,92%, it means The productivity produced by the heavy equipment batching plant is faster / higher than the standard productivity value of PT.RMB, so that it is able to meet the demand for readymix concrete of the consumers they supply. Meanwhile, the factors that can affect the productivity of the heavy equipment batching plant are weather, management (equipment, material resources, labor resources), the performance of the equipment operator and the value of the concrete slump.
