Abstract
As the age progressed, the need for building materials such as sand and gravel (sirtu) for industrial and housing was increased. One potential mineral aggregate (Law (UU) No. 3 Of 2020 about climate Law (UU) No 4 Of 2009 about minerals mine and coal) is a sandstone. Based on it, studies are being made to give an estimated quantity or volume of passable resources IUP in CV. Usaha Guna Mandiri on Pasir Sialang, Bangkinang district, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The research method used for collecting resources, as the cross section, contour method to calculation resources. The circular analysis of the sandstone using geolistric data, the testing Wells, geology data, the testing of properties and calculation of sirtu pellets in the laboratorium. Samples of the sandstone (sirtu) have a percentage of clay or silt is 1.03%, sand is 26.83% and gravel is 72.14% . The total resource volume is 645,040, 52 m3 using cross section method, while using a contour method is 682,823.93 m3. Reserve assessment is 546,259.14 m3 with using an estimated section. Calculation the overburden by the cross section method is 1,487,307.14 m3.
