Abstract

Learning is a conscious effort carried out by individuals in making changes in their behavior which is carried out through learning and training that involves cognitive aspects. To improve student learning outcomes, good learning outcomes are needed because learning outcomes are a final achievement that is obtained when someone has gone through the learning process and to achieve a better change from students. Then the learning style is very necessary when the learning process Because learning styles are ways, methods, or strategies that are owned by individuals in obtaining knowledge information as broad as possible. This study aims to find out how student learning styles on Indonesian language subjects and to find out how the relationship between learning styles and learning outcomes in Indonesian learning activities of class XI students of SMA SERIRAMA YLPI PEKANBARU. This type of research is quantitative. The data in this study are quantitative data. Quantitative data can be obtained from questionnaires, observation and documentation of student learning outcomes. The sample in this study were students of class XI which numbered 50 students. The data analysis technique in this study is correlation analysis to find the relationship between learning styles and learning outcomes. From the results of the hypothesis test it is known that the r value in the correlation calculation which is at a significant level of 5% is 0.348. While the r table value for N - 2 is 0.279. Then it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. From the results above, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between learning styles and student learning outcomes in Pekanbaru SERIRAMA YLPI High School.
