Abstract
Abstract An Analysis of the Stages of Promotion of Rokan Hulu Tourism and Culture Office in Promoting Religious Tourism (Study of the Great Mosque of the Islamic Center of Rokan Hulu) ARIFATUN MAKHRIFAH 159110062 This study aims to find out and explain the Analysis of the Stages of Promotion of the Rokan Hulu Tourism and Culture Office in Promoting the Great Mosque of the Islamic Center. Know and explain the obstacles of the Rokan Hulu Department of Tourism and Culture in Promoting the Great Mosque of the Islamic Center. The reason for choosing this research is because of the uniqueness of the mosque that has the beauty of a building with the soul of the Middle Eastern art, inspired by the Prophet's Mosque in Medina. Also includes the design of the buildings and lights that decorate it similar to the atmosphere in the Middle East and the mosque is also known as the best Plenary Pilot Mosque in Indonesia. In this study using descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observation and documentation. Informants in this study were 4 people taken from the Rokan Hulu Tourism and Culture Office. In this study, researchers used 8 stages of the implementation of the promotion and among those 8 which were applied by the Rokan Hulu Tourism and Culture Office only 5 of them were determining goals, identifying the intended markets, compiling budgets, selecting news and selecting media mix. Research shows that the Great Mosque of the Islamic Center is in great demand by many people because of the uniqueness and grandeur of its art building which has the soul of Middle Eastern art. The mosque is not only equipped with worship facilities, but there are supporting facilities such as multipurpose hall facilities, business centers, sports facilities, educational facilities, media centers (Islamic Radio and others). In introducing this mosque to the people of the Rokan Hulu Tourism and Culture Office, choosing promotion media, including electronic media such as Madani TV and Islamic Radio, and the presence of print media such as billboard, as well as using social media such as Facebook and Instagram.
