Abstract

PT. Rigunas Agri Utama has carried out various CSR programs that are in direct contact with the community around the company's location. Various types of CSR assistance provided can be felt directly by the community and benefit the community. The purpose of this research is to find out, describe and analyze the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PT. Rigunas Agri Utama In the Simelinang Tebing Village Community of Peranap Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu Regency and to find out, describe and analyze the communication barriers to implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the Simelinang Tebing Village Community, Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu District. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method and uses a research design that seeks to give an overview of the situation, or what is called descriptive. The results of the study revealed that the implementation of CSR PT. Rigunas Agri Utama in Semelinang Tebing Village, Peranap District, which has been run by the company in the field of education, namely providing assistance to the poor in the form of scholarships, scholarships for outstanding students, assistance for the construction of PAUD / TK school buildings, and elementary schools, assistance with the construction of boreholes and water reservoirs for mosques, and seminars to increase public knowledge, as well as assistance in the construction of posyandu buildings. Constraints or obstacles faced in the communication of CSR implementation of PT. Rigunas Agri Utama in the form of human resource factors that exist in Public Relations of PT. Rigunas Agri Utama and a form of proposal from the community. There are also obstacles in the field regarding the coordination between PR and the community.
