Abstract

Based on observation in the field, through the observation undertaken by researchers can be seen that there are some problems, the first that extracurricular volleyball coach is not pay attention to the student well and just let the extracurriculer volleyball student training just with themself without his guidance so many students have not good ability under hand volleyball service. Coordination between leg and hand is not same, Accuration student in volleyball underhand service is not accurate yet. The purpose of these study was to determine the is there effect of exercise variation of upgrades ability underhand service volleyball game extracurricular student of SMP Negeri 22 Pekanbaru city. Type of research is experimental design with pre-test group and post-test one group. This data colllection using the instrument under test service volleyball game. The entire student population is all of extracurricular student with total 10 person. Where the withdrawal of the sampling technique is total sampling or sampling the entire population comprising 10 male student. From the analysis of the research data which is based on the calculation of the value of t obtained t = 2,36. Then compared with the value of t in the distribution table in the book value of the t statistic. From the table t we know that the value table = 2,26. This mean that t count greater than t table. Based on the analysis of data it can be concluded that there are significant variations training to incrase the ability of service under hand volleyball game student extracurricular SMP Negeri 22 Pekanbaru city.
