Abstract

Based on direct observation in the field at football athlete PS UIR Pekanbaru when they practiced football, the observations it appears that at the time the players dribble unfavorable. This is due to lack of agility that they have, so the influence at the time of movement of the dribble. The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution to the agility football athlete dribbling ability PS UIR Pekanbaru. The type of this research is the correlation with measurement techniques using correlation analysis technique. Population is the subject of research, amounting to 22 people, what if the subject is less than 100 people, the entire population sampled. aka authors set all populations sampled with a total sampling technique which was 22 people. Statistic analysis techniques using the formula Correlational product moment correlation coefficient with significant distribution. Based on the analysis of the data showed that the value of r count found 0.135, this value is an index correlation showed a positive correlation or relationship between agility on the soccer athlete dribbling ability PS UIRPekanbaru. The value than r table. Count r value 0.153 < r table 0.423 and 0.692 t count > t table 686, later found to be KD = 2.3%. It can be concluded in this study that there is a contribution to the agility football athlete dribbling ability PS UIR Pekanbaru 2.3%.
