Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems of observation on students extracurricular soccer SMA Negeri 1 Kepenuhan Hulu Rokan Hulu regency: dribble speed of students is still slow, dribble ball movement students are still less agile, mastery of basic techniques dribble students are still less than perfect. The purpose of this study is to determine the contribution of agility to the ability to accompany the ball game football students son extracurricular SMA Negeri 1 Kepenuhan Hulu Rokan Hulu. This type of research is correlational research. the population in this study were students men extracurricular football SMA Negeri 1 Kepenuhan Hulu which amounted to 18 people. The sampling technique is total sampling so the sample size is 18 people. The instruments used in this study are dogging run and soccer dribbling tests. The calculation results obtained r value count of 0.483. This value is then compared with the r value of the table at df = 16 with a 5% error rate of 0.468. Comparison of these two values r value is greater than r table so that there is contribution between the two variables. Based on the coefficient of determination of 23.3%. The conclusion in this research is that there is contribution of agility to the ability to accompany ball student SMA Negeri 1 Kepenuhan Hulu Rokan Hulu with a percentage of 23.3%. R value count of 0.483 with enough category.
