Abstract
This study aims to determine the perception of biology students about the implementation of field experience program in faculty teacher and education at Islamic University of Riau year 2016/2017. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The method used is descriptive analysis method. Sample determination using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using questionaires, observations and interviews. Populasi of 185 student, and the sample in this study as many as 111 people, taken from 6 classes in biological FKIP UIR generation 2013. Technique of data analysis using attitude scale that is likert scale.. The questionaire distributed consists of 33 statement items. Based of the results of research can be seen that: The PPL administration indicators can be categorized very well with the percentage of 89,74%, guidance indicators PPL can be categorized very good with percentage 87,60%, indicators of the suitability of theories in the field can be categorized very well with the percentage of 92,29%, indicators of teaching practice can be categorized very well with the percentage of 90,88%, PPL assessment indicator can be categorized very good with percentage 98,30%. The highest indicator is the assessment indicator ppl with percentage 98,30%, and the lowest indicator is the guidance indicator ppl with percentage 87,0%. It can be concluded that the average result of student responses about the implementation of field experience program equal to 91,76% with very category.
