Abstract

This study aims to determine the students' perceptions of the implementation of biology learning class XI in senior high school Pekanbaru Academic Year 2017/2018, namely state senior high school 9 Pekanbaru, state senior high school 10 Pekanbaru, state senior high school 11 Pekanbaru and state senior high school 12 Pekanbaru. This study is a quantitative research. The method in this research is survey method. The collected the data were using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The sample in this study at 290 people, taken from the students of class XI IPA in 4 senior high school Pekanbaru City of the academic year 2017/2018. Questionnarie distributed consist of 36 question of items. Based on the results of research can be seen that the students' perceptions of the implementation of biology learning class XI in senior high school Pekanbaru Academic Year 2017/2018 based on pedagogic competence in very good category with percentage 88,71%. Viewed on professional competence in very good category with the percentage of 91,32%. It can be concluded that the overall average of students' perceptions of the implementation of biology learning class XI in senior high school Pekanbaru Academic Year 2017/2018 being in very good category with the percentage of 89.23%
