Abstract
The purpose of this research to determine relationship between self-concept and how to learn with learning outcomes biology class eleventh grade students majoring science in Senior High School Pekanbaru City School 2017/2018 Year. Was conducted from April to May 2018. Correlational research with data collection using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Sample as many as 132 students. Analysis of the using correlation analysis Pearson Product Moment. The results show that (1) the average of all selfconcept sub indicators is 72,82%, (2) the average of all sub indicators of how to learn is 67,91% (3) student learning outcomes with a high category of a 62,88%, medium category 12,12%, and a low category of 25%. For the conclusion the corelation show that (1) there is no significant relationship between self-concept (X 1) with the results of studying biology (Y), with a correlation coefficient (rx 1 y) amounted to 0,115 with the contribution of the self-concept on learning outcomes by 1,32%, (2) there is a significant relationship in the low category between ways of learning (X 2) with the results of studyng biology (Y), with a correlation coefficient (rx2y) amounted to 0,314 with the contribution of how to lear to learning outcomes 9,85%, (3) there is a significant relationship in the low category between self-concept (X1) and how learn (X2) with the result of studying biology (Y) class XI students majoring science in Senior Hight School Pekanbaru City, with a correlation coeficient (rx1x2y) amounted to 0,313 with the contribution to selfconcept and how to learn to learning outcomes of 9,79%.
