Abstract
This research is aimed to knowing profile on scientific work and character in Plant Anatomy practicum of students of level 3 class A on 3 November until 17 November 2017 in academic year 2017/2018. This research use descriptive research method. Parametric measured in this research is scientific work and character. The subjects of this research is students of level 3 class a in Islamic University of Riau as many 35 student. Data collection of this research is observation. From this research results obtained on indicators of scientific work in cell living subject and cells have a percentage 100% (very good) and 33,33% (not good). In indicators of scientific work in plant tissue subject have percentage 96,19% (very good) and 33,33% (not good). The while in indicators of characters in cells plant subject have a percentage 100% (very good) and 39,05% (not good). In characters scientific in plant tissue subject have a percentage 100% (very good) and 33,33% (not good). From the results of this research the conclusion that the students of Biology education FKIP Islamic University of Riau on Academic Year 2017/2018 having a percentage in scientific work is 66,06% (good) and characters scientific is 78,25% (enough) in Plant Anatomy practicum.
