Abstract

Field A is an oil field in Riau province which has been producing since 1976 with a total production of 13.8 MMBO. There was a decrease in production in field A with a large amount of reserves. Services maintenance and work over have been carried out on this field, but the results obtained are not significant,because it is recommended to use EOR to improve production levels. Screening criteria need to be done to determine the EOR that is suitable for use in field A. This study will use two screening methods namely manually using Taber, Martin, Seright screening criteria tables, Pan sang kang tables, Alvarado and Ranson tables and using EORgui software. Manual screening criteria is used by matching reservoir and field fluid data on each EOR method, while screening using EORgui software is done by entering field data into the software so that the results of the EOR method are suggested. The EOR method recommended in this study is polymer flooding where from manual screening using Taber, Martin, Seright tables obtained 100% data match results, Pan sang kang tables 100% and Alvarado tables 85.7%. While the EORgui software obtained polymer flooding results as the most recommended method with a value of 80%.
