Abstract

This research is aiming to gain a description of justifications from the students X who commited free sex. This Research IS done In one of Boarding House the University Campus Area X. It is a case study type research, which is concerning a special phenomenon appeared in a limited context. in order to record the statements of justification for their behaviors, Data is gathered from four student free sex behavior. Result from this research showed some techniques of neutralization based on theory by Sykes & Matza (1968), among others are their effort to obtain approvals for their deviance behaviors. Such perception will be justified by it self by neutralizing the deviant behavior. Their reasons for having free sex are feel as a victim of the low attention of parents, and environmental influences that have had a bad effect, and assume no one is harmed by the activities they do. It is done as a way to rationalize their actions in sexual intercourse. Because by doing denial of the action, then the applicable mechanism automatically becomes loose and does not work.
