Abstract

This reseach is based on the phenomena of the field where the number of children found. therefore the authors are interested in conducting reseach that is the assessment of the implementation of the policy to Department of Social Pekanbaru city is the capital of riau province that all the activities undertaken in the city of pekanbaru such as the central economy, the central of government, and also center of trade and which others. which triggered the occurrence of social problems one children of street. The main factor of chidren of street is economic factor. social service has the authority and duty in handly social problem of street chidren. In accordance eith the policy of social office of Pekanbaru city to street chindren that doing coaching program. But until right now Department of Social Pekanbaru has’nt been able to handle social problems of street chidren this can be seen still many street chidren seen in corner of the new city. Therefore the authors are interested in conductiong research that is the implementation of policy to departent social of Pekanbaru. based on this study, the authors use the descripsion menthod with a qualitative approach that is to interview the social services and street chidren in city of Pekanbaru the result of the interviemw cocluded to be the result of this study. This research using subarsono theory this reseach is Imput, Process, Output, Outcame.
