Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the results of evaluation of the implementation of the Regulation. Regency of Siak Number 2 Year 2014 on Sustainable Land Farming Farm Protection in Sabak Auh Subdistrict Siak Regency (Study of Protection and Empowerment of Farmers in Kecamatan Sabak Auh) This type of research is quantitative research, but its data processing using descriptive method According Sugiyono (2012: 8) namely research methods that use a population or a particular sample, data collection using research instruments, quantitative data analysis or 26 statistics, with the aim to test the predefined hypothesis. Then the descriptive method according to Sugiyono (2009: 21) is a method used, to describe or analyze a research result but not used to make wider conclusions, while according to Nazir (2005: 4), descriptive method is a method in researching group status man, an object, a set of conditions, a system of thought, or a class ofevents in the present. Data obtained from the respondents, will be processed for further presented in the form of writing and analyzed using descriptive or description method. The data obtained came from questionnaire answers and interviews by Kev informants regarding the evaluation of the implementation of local regulations Siak District Regulation No. 2 of 2014 Articles 74 and 75. The questionnaire data obtained in the form of numbers which are then discussed by percentage, while the interview data in theform of narrative described. The result of this research is Farmer Welfare Improvement Program of Food Crops and Holtikultura Regency of Siak channeling aid through PDMP program (Pemgembangan Desa Mandiri Pangan). The development of selfsupporting village activities carried out the development of the Village Agricultural Self-Establishment Village in the District Belak Auh Belading Village. The objectives of the program are to empower the poor, strengthen community and government institutions, develop food security systems, enhance cross-sector coordination to support the development and development of rural facilities and infrastructure and for the welfare of farmers
