Abstract

Coaching is a two-way communication process that connects the knowledge center with recipients, workers and final acceptance (community) and the purpose of coaching is so that the community can increase their living standards more prosperously and perfect. In this study the responsibility in guiding people with a psychiatric disorder who is a landlord is the duty of the Social and Funeral Service Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine the City Social Service Policy Pekanbaru in fostering patients with mental disorders. Policy assessment indicator those used include Promotive, Curative, Preventive and Rehabilitative. Type of research which is located in the Pekanbaru City Social Service. is a descriptive quantitative method, that is by using a method used to find knowledge towards research subjects at a certain time to reveal empirical facts objectively based on scientific logic. There are 4 population groups and the sample in this study is 1 person head of the Division of Social Rehabilitation, 1 head Civil Service Police, 1 head of RSJ nursing and 10 families with disorders soul. Two sampling techniques used in setting individual samples are sample census techniques for the population group head of the field of rehabilitation, head of the Satpol PP pekanbaru, Head of handsome RSJ nursing and purposive sampling technique for family population group with mental disorders. Types and data collection techniques used consists of, primary data collected using list techniques questionnaires and interviews and secondary data collected using techniques observation and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is with grouping data based on the type and form of data then the results of the data presented in the form of tables and descriptions which are then explained descriptively Based on this analysis technique, researchers assess and conclude that the Service Policy Social and Funeral of Pekanbaru City in Fostering Patients with Mental Disorders at the assessment interval Less implemented
