Abstract
This study aims to determine the role of service quality in health centers in terms of achieving effective performance of employees who work at Puskesmas Ujungbatu, Rokan Hulu Regency. in this study the researcher interviewed 1 informant, the Head of Puskesmas Ujungbatu. Data collection used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. Types of data collected through primary data and secondary data, collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews and observations. The analysis of the data used is after secondary data, then grouped according to the needs and uses and analyzed quantitatively and then analyzed descriptively and a conclusion is taken. Based on data analysis conducted that the Quality of Service at Puskesmas Ujungbatu in Rokan Hulu Regency is managed fairly well, therefore the task of puskesmas staff in the future must be more attention to the quality of health services at the Puskesmas. The suggestions for improving service quality are adding service facilities to make it more comfortable. As well as the Quality of Human Resources (HR) need to be improved again with training in the medical field, as well as improving responsiveness of services and transparency of services.
