Abstract

This study aims to find out the Socialization that is done by the Personnel Department Of Pekanbaru City against the acceptance examination CPNS in 2014 using a Computer Assisted Test (CAT) system. Indicators of this research are announcements, registration/ application, selection and placement. The type of research located in Pekanbaru City is Servey Descriptive, which prioritize list of quissioner as a means of collecting data and data collected with this tool then used as the main raw material to analyze the empirical conditions of objectivity of the existence of research objectives at the location in the perusal. The population used in this research is The Head Of The City Employment Agency Pekanbaru, Head Of The Procurement Of Employees and Information Systems, CPNS Acceptance Committee In 2014 and CPNS Who Graduated In 2014. The sampling technique used in assigning individual samples is a cencus technique for Head Of Bodies and Heads Of Fields, simple random sampling for population groups of the Committee and CPNS who graduated in 2014. The type and data collection techniques used in this study consist of, primary data collected by using quessioners and interviews and secondary data collected using observation techniques. While data alaysis technique used is to use the tool table frequency. Based on this analytical technique the researchers assessed and concluded that the research entitled socialization of cpns recruitment on computer assisted tes (cat) system of 2014 study bkdpekanbaru city is at the interval assessment “Simply Good”. Recommendation to consider is where in the future Regional Personnel Agency Pekanbaru City further increase again socialization to the public to better understand the CAT system.
