Abstract
Korean drama is a mild spectacle of various conflicts with the theme of bullying. The phenomenon of bullying as one of the many portraits of life shown in various stories in Korean drama. As for some Korean dramas that raise the theme of bullying in schools, The Heirs (2013), Angry Mom (2015), Sassy Go Go! Or Cheer Up (2015), and School 2015 or Who Are You (2015). This study discusses the bullying phenomenon that occurs among teenagers who are considered as the effects of Korean drama. The variables of this study are independent variables (x) watching Korean drama shows with a variable (y) bullying action at Handayani Pekanbaru High School with indicators of bullying, mocking, insulting, cheering. The messages contained in the Korean drama will be reviewed using cultivation. Through a correlational explanatory quantitative approach to 167 teenagers(students) of Handayani City Pekanbaru High School will be tested through questionnaire distribution. Based on the results of the analysis using SPSS 17 then the results obtained = (1). Frequency-ridicule = 0.000, (2). Frequency-insult = 0.000, (3). Frequency-highlighting = 0.000, (4). Intensity-mocking = 0.000, (5). Intensity-insult = 0.000 , (6). Intensity-Scorching = 0,000, (7). Duration-Mocking = 0.002, (8). Duration-Insult = 0,000, (9). Duration-Shocking = 0,000. The conclusion of this study is that there is a strong significant relationship of variable (x) with variable (y) that watching Korean drama shows influence on bullying, mocking, insulting and cheering behavior in Handayani Pekanbaru High School.
