Abstract
This study aims to describe about communication planning of PKBM Pelita Riau in improving positive image of nonformal education including research, plan, execute, measure / evaluation, and report. This study use a qualitative approach, data collection is carried out by observation, interview and documentation. The subject of this study were the chairman of PKBM, active tutor A,B and C package and the community. Validity verification use triangulation techtique. Data analysis used is descriptive analysis with the steps off data collection, data reduction and make a conclusion. Their results of study shows that is : 1. Research, identification of ploblems that occur in PKBM, the problem are the existence of various perception that ia not good for PKBM and the lack off goverment participation. Therefore PKBM Pelita Riau holding a mobile reading program and will hold layar tancap which contains about nonformal education and 8 standards in terms of learning. 2. Plan, after identifying the problem PKBM Pelita Riau prepare a plan that has a purpose to carry out activities and socialize the program. 3. Execute, planning that has been prepare applied to the community both communicated directly, or using the media. 4. Measure/evaluation, evaluating aims to minimize the problem that occur. 5. Report, after implementing a plans report to be used as consideration for the success or failure of a program activity that has been implemented, program that has been implemented by PKBM Pelita Riau can be used as a foundation for the next program.
