Abstract

Education is a planned effort to create an atmosphere of academic activity and teaching and learning process, so that students can actively develop their potential. Education is one of the important things and is an absolute necessity for every individual. The teaching and learning process as a whole is the most basic activity for a student at school. Students can carry out learning activities in class properly and optimally if students are able to concentrate on the explanations conveyed by the teacher or carry out other academic activities. This study aims to determine the relationship between achievement motivation and academic flow in students of SMK X Kunto Darussalam with a total sample of 205 people. The sampling method used is random sampling. The data collection technique used a Likert scale for questions of achievement motivation totaling 29 items and academic flow totaling 13 items. The analysis method uses Spearman's Rank Order. The results of data analysis showed a correlation of 0.038 with the sig. 0.568 (p>0.05). This explains that there is no relationship between achievement motivation and academic flow in students of SMK X Kunto Darussalam District.
