Abstract
This research was conducted at CV. Karya Muda Prima, which aims to determine the suitability of accounting application in CV. Karya Muda Prima with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This research is included in qualitative research. The data used are secondary data with data collection techniques used are documentation and data analysis techniques using descriptive methods. The results obtained are the basic accounting used is the accrual method. The company has no trade receivables because payments are made in cash. The accounting process only records daily transactions, does not make journals and ledgers. On the fixed assets statement, the company depreciates vehicles and office supplies. So it can be concluded that CV. Karya Muda Prima in Pekanbaru has not yet fully implemented generally accepted accounting principles.
