Abstract

The development of sharia entrepreneurship was a business activity that was manage based on principle sharia based entrepreneur that was based on Al-Qur’an law and prophet Muhammad PBUH hadiths. Every entrepreneur activity should follow the rule and regulation in Islamic that had purpose to get profit and giving prosperity to ummat. The formulation of problem in this research was how the potential of Islamic boarding school in developing sharia entrepreneurship at Islamic boarding school khairul ummah Air Molek Indragiri Hulu. The purpose in this research examined to know the potential of Islamic boarding school Khairul Ummah Air Molek Indragiri Hulu in effort to develop entrepreneur based sharia at islamic boarding school. This research used descriptive qualitative. The informant was chairperson and business responsible member at Islamic boarding school Khairul Ummah Air Molek Indragiri Hulu. Data collection technique used observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis technique used reduction, data display and drawing conclusion. Research finding showed that business unit at Islamic boarding school Khairul Ummah Air Molek Indragiri Hulu had potential as entrepreneurship based sharia.
