Abstract

Abstract PEKANBARU CITY GOVERNMENT WEBSITE MANAGEMENT IN PROVIDING INFORMATION TO THE COMMUNITY MUHAMMAD NURMAKRUF NPM. 169110185 This study aims to determine the management of the Pekanbaru city government website in providing information to the public. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Informants in this study were the Head of Communication, Information, Statistics and Public Relations of Pekanbaru City, Head of Information and Communication Management Division of the Department of Transportation, Informatics, Statistics and Public Relations of Pekanbaru City, Staff of Public Information Management and Communication Management of Pekanbaru City. Pekanbaru City Communication, Informatics, Statistics and Public Relations Office, and Adil Trisema Information and Communication Management Staff in the Communication, Information, Statistics and Public Relations Division of Pekanbaru City. The data of this research is the source of data in the form of direct primary observation data in the form of collecting interview data with observation. The secondary data of this research is data collection from the service, field survey results, interviews. Data collection techniques in this study consisted of Observation, Interview, and Documentation. Data analysis in this study used triangulation of data sources. Based on the results of research and discussion on the management of the Pekanbaru City Government website in providing information to the public, the results of the Pekanbaru City Government website research in its planning are guided by the vision of the Office of Communication, Information, Statistics and Resources. The Pekanbaru city government website is well organized and organized. The Pekanbaru City Government Website Media in implementing the directive stages is very good. Pekanbaru City Government website in providing information to the public in its management requires strict supervision and control. The number of human resources owned by the Department of Communication, Information, Statistics and Public Works of Pekanbaru City must continue to be increased, as well as the supporting facilities and infrastructure for implementing it.
