Kembar mayang is one of the rituals in the Javanese traditional wedding ceremony which is carried out before the wedding ceremony takes place. The kembar mayang tradition is a tradition that has been practiced for a long time and has become part of people's lives, which cannot be separated from the life of Javanese community groups. Especially in the area of Garut Village, District Kandis Regency. Siak tradition is still maintained and continues to this day. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The data from this study were obtained from various data sources to answer the researcher's problems, namely primary data and secondary data. The results of this study explain the meaning of the mayang twins, which symbolizes blooming on areca nut which means to bring the two brides to the life of a new person in social life. In this case mayang twins are witnesses of events, guards and danger wards. Mayang twins are always shown in pairs. The meaning is manifested in the same form but not in the sense of male and female. The mayang twins are always placed in the left and right rows because they symbolize that all things that are holy, honest, and good are placed on the right, while things that are all bad, falsehood and lies are always placed on the left of the bride and groom. Thus, in the life of the Javanese community, the Mayang twins have a philosophical meaning that reflects the relationship between humans and their environment
