Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT PT PLN(PERSERO) REGION OF RIAU AND KEPRIRAYON TALUK KUANTAN by: SERI DARMA YUNI NPM. 165210502 ABSTRACT The research objective was to determine the effect of training and development programs on employee performance at PT PLN (Persero) Riau Kepri Rayon Taluk Kuantan. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive method and the data analysis technique used was multiple linear analysis techniques. As for the instrument of PT PLN (Persero) Riau Region Kepri Rayon Taluk Kuantan, data in the form of questionnaires and interviews with samples were all employees of the network and engineering section of PT PLN (Persero) Riau Region Kepri Rayon Taluk Kuantan totaling 73 people. The results showed that training had an effect on the performance of the employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Riau Kepri Rayon Taluk Kuantan, while Development has no effect on the performance of employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Riau Kepri District Taluk Kuantan. Training and development have a simultaneous effect on performance with the strong influence category indicated by the R-square value of 0.770. This means that the performance of employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Riau Kepri Rayon Taluk Kuantan was influenced by training and development by 77%, while the remaining 23% (100% - 77%) was influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
