Abstract

Based on Law no. 28 of 2002 concerning buildings in article 3 states that in order to realize a building that is functional and in accordance with the building structure which is harmonious and in harmony with its environment, it must guarantee the reliability of the building. The current condition, there are still many buildings that have collapsed partially or completely as a result of natural disasters, changes in function, etc. due to construction failures, therefore it is necessary to have a building reliability check to determine the level of reliability as an initial basis for consideration. furthermore in issuing a Building Function Acceptable Certificate by the Regional Government. The method used in this research is to use the descriptive method, which can be interpreted as a procedure for solving the problem under investigation, namely by describing the condition of the subject or object in the study which can be people, institutions, society and others who are currently based on visible facts. or as it is by interview and building data (shop drawing). The results of the research on the level of reliability assessment of the hospital building arifin Achmad Pekanbaru from the aspect of drainage and rainwater channels show that the Surgical building which consists of 5 floors including the basement area gets a screen, slope, horizontal gutter, vertical gutter, Rainwater Infiltration Well, assessment ground water, rain data have met the criteria with point 5 which is very good. Meanwhile, for the criteria for rainwater harvesting, getting point 1 means so bad. With the final accumulated value reliably worth 90% of the 100% scale.
