Abstract
This study aims to determine and see the media literacy of teenagers in Pekanbaru through the 'Twitter Please Do Your Magic' movement on Twitter. Researchers used descriptive qualitative methods in this study by conducting in-depth interviews with six informants, and conducting direct observations. The results of this study indicate that the 'Twitter please do your magic' movement is a movement made for a noble purpose but not a few individuals use this movement to commit criminal acts such as fraud. To respond to this, teenagers in Pekanbaru need media literacy. According to the results of this study, adolescents in Pekanbaru are at the middle level in the level of media literacy.
