Abstract

THE EFFECT OF GOOGLE CLASSROOM EFFECTIVENESS ON LEARNING OUTCOMES OF ACCOUNTING EDUCATION STUDENTS FOR THE 2018 UNIVERSITY OF ISLAMIC RIAU Nadya Annisya Hasibuan, Nurhuda nadyaannisyahasibuan@gmail.com Islamic University of Riau ABSTRAK This type of research is a descriptive research with an explanatory quantitative approach which aims to determine the effect of the effectiveness of Google Classroom on the learning outcomes of students of 2018 Islamic University of Riau. The subjects in this study were all students of accounting education class 2018 at the Islamic University of Riau totaling 47 students, the variables used in this study were the effectiveness of Google Classroom as the independent variable and learning outcomes as the dependent variable. The data collection technique used in this research is to use a questionnaire technique (questionnaire). The results of testing using the SPSS program are known to have a significant value of the effectiveness of the Google Classroom variable of 0.000 so it can be concluded that there is an influence between the effectiveness of the Google Classroom on the learning outcomes of the 2018 Islamic University of Riau Islamic University student learning outcomes. The results of the calculation of the determinant coefficients are known that the magnitude of the effect of the effectiveness of google classroom on student learning outcomes is 0.552 or in a percentage of 55.2% that the effectiveness of google classroom affects learning outcomes. While the remaining 44.8% was influenced by other factors not found in this study. The benefits of this research for students, can gain new experiences using learning media that have never been applied before, for lecturers as material for consideration and open up lecturers' insight into the diversity of learning media, for researchers to find solutions to problems that exist in online learning.
