Abstract
Job satisfaction is a feeling of pleasure or happiness among employees/workers in doing and carrying out their work. If someone is happy with his job, then he will be satisfied with his job. The employee satisfaction at BMT Al-Ittihad Rumbai in Pekanbaru City can be identified from the application of a comfortable work system, appropriate salary, job promotion, good supervision and solid work relationships. The provision of job satisfaction among employees in a company or an organization is expected to be able to improve the employee job performance. It can be seen from the improvement of employee job performance at BMT AlIttihad Rumbai in Pekanbaru city. This study aims to investigate the employee satisfaction to improve the job performance. The type of this study is descriptive qualitative research, which the data are processed by analyzing, describing, and summarizing various situations and conditions in the field. The data collection techniques used are interviews and observations. The results of this study show that the provision of employee satisfaction at BMT Al-Ittihad Rumbai in Pekanbaru City can improve the job performances well. Therefore, the researcher recommends for the further researchers to investigate other dimensions that may be able to maximize the job performance among the employees.
