Abstract

A small that bot immediately repair lead the damage and the impact more enlarge. The purpose of this research is to know damage rate of road damage, comparing value of analysis from SDI method and IRI method, and to know how to handling and repair road problem in Jalan Lintas Sungai Pakning - Dumai (Sepahat - Sei. Pakning). This research using Surf ace Distress Index (SDI) Method and International Roughness Index (IRI) Method to analysis surface problem, the value from IRI are using the correlation formulas between Present Seriveability Index (PSI) with IRI. SDI result are from manual survey and IRI result are from survey using NAASRA device. Average percent SDI value for road condition of Jalan Sepahat - Sei. Pakning is 25.2 so Jalan Sepahat - Sei.Pakning have a good condition. Average percent IRI value for road condition of jalan Sepahat - Sei. Pakning is 4.22 so Jalan Sepahat - Sei. Pakning is on moderate condition. PSI value from IRI using NAASRA for Jalan Sepahat - Sei. Pakning is 4.5 so this road in very good condition and 2.5 which means service condition are good enough. The type of handling and re pair that can use for this road is with routine maintenance by overlaying road surface. This type of repair can increase pavement quality but not increase structural strength that apply over year. For several type of road condition with small damage are re pair with periodic repair at a certain time and to increase road structural strength. But road with heavy damage are handling with structural reconstruction and or geometric reconstruction to get service rate in overlay.
