Abstract

In the current new normal era, School From Home (SFH) is an alternative learning in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. This school from home activity is a new challenge for teachers, students, and parents. One of the problems that occur during this virtual-based learning is how students are able to cultivate an attitude of learning discipline in the midst of this pandemic, because without face-to-face meetings in class, it is possible that teachers cannot guide directly about the difficulties experienced by students. Therefore, efforts must be made by schools to follow the development of information technology, one of which is by applying information technology related to web-based student learning discipline monitoring. The purpose of this study is to build a student discipline monitoring system that is able to measure and improve student discipline at SMKN 7 Pekanbaru to the maximum and provide reports that are in accordance with existing data. The results of the study indicate that this system can provide convenience for teachers and homeroom teachers in monitoring to see the discipline of assignments and student attendance. And this monitoring can provide convenience in data management, because it can be done in a structured and informative manner, so that a better and maximum process can be produced by making it easier for users to store data, add data, edit data and delete data. Based on the results of the questionnaire this system has good performance with an average value of 81% so that this system can be implemented.
