Abstract

This research on the application of accounting was carried out in Rumbai District in the broiler chicken trading business. As for the problem in this study is whether the accounting application used by the broiler chicken trading business is in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting in carrying out the broiler chicken trading business. The purpose of this research was to determine the suitability of the application of accounting by the broiler chicken trading business in Rumbai District. whether it is in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting. The data collected, namely primary data obtained directly from respondents through interviews and questionnaires to broiler chicken owners in Rumbai sub-district and secondary data obtained from respondents, namely financial report data, namely the daily record book of broiler chicken business owners in Rumbai district. And the method used in this research is structured interviews to complement secondary data and documentation through taking documents in the form of diaries. Meanwhile, the data analysis used is descriptive method. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the application of accounting in the broiler chicken trading business in Rumbai District is not in accordance with the basic concept of accounting.
