Abstract

Village development plays an important role because it is an inseparable part and essentially synergizes with regional and national development. Meanwhile, at the implementation stage of village development, the village head coordinates the Village development activities carried out by the Village apparatus or Village community elements, both village-scale village development and sectoral and regional development that enter the village. The main objective of this research is to know and explain the implementation of the tasks of the Village Head in the development of Tanjung Sawit Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. This study analyzes the implementation of village head's tasks by using indicators making detailed plans, assigning tasks, monitoring and reviewing. The type of research used in this study is qualitative with a total of 12 informants and village heads as key informants, and data collection techniques using interviews. The main conclusion of the study of the Analysis of the Implementation of the Duties of Village Heads in Development in Tanjung Sawit Village, Tapung Subdistrict, Kampar Regency is less than the maximum, especially on the assignment and review indicators.
