Abstract

This research was conducted in the Village Economic Business - Savings and Loans (UEK-SP) Indah Sago, Sago Village, Senapelan District, Pekanbaru City. Which aims to understand whether the application of accounting that has been applied to the Village Economic Business - Savings and Loans (UEK-SP) Indah Sago, Sago Village, Senapelan District, is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The use of data by researchers is primary data and secondary data, primary data is in the form of data that has been compiled by the Village Economic Business - Savings and Loans (UEK-SP) Indah Sago in the form of Indah Sago's UEK-SP profile, organizational structure and UEK-SP activities. While data collection was carried out by interview and documentation. Researchers found several problems that arise based on research and discussion, namely, first there is no separation between current assets and fixed assets as well as current and long-term debt on the balance sheet. Second, the financial statements do not provide an allowance for doubtful accounts. The third does not present cash flow statements, changes in equity and notes to financial statements. Based on the results of the research, it shows that the application of accounting in the Village Economic Business - Savings and Loans (UEK-SP) Indah Sago, Sago Village, Senapelan District, Pekanbaru City as a whole is not in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
