Abstract
The research objective is to determine and analyze the effect of profitability, leverage, company size and public ownership structure on the application of enterprise risk management (ERM) in insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research was conducted with descriptive and quantitative methods using primary data and secondary data obtained through documentation methods in the form of financial reports on the companies under study. The sample in this study were 12 insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2018 period with a purposive sampling method. From the research results it is known that of the four variables that affect Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), namely Profitability and Public Ownership Structure, while Leverage and Company Size do not have a significant effect on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
