Abstract
This research was conducted to determine and analyze the effect of organizational commitment on the work performance of employees of the marketing department at PT. Astra Credit Company Pekanbaru. The location of this research is located at Jalan Ahmad Yani No. 152 Pekanbaru. The types and sources of data used are primary and secondary. The population and samples taken were employees of the marketing department totaling 37 people. Data collection techniques obtained through interviews or interviews and research questionnaires. This research was conducted with a quantitative descriptive method. From the results of the descriptive study, it was concluded that organizational commitment variables were in the good category. Employees really uphold the company so that they always raise the good name of the company. Work performance variable is in good category. Employees have felt job satisfaction while working, as seen from the job that is in accordance with the level of education and ability so that they feel comfortable at work. Organizational commitment has a significant effect on the employee performance variable in the marketing division at PT. Astra Credit Company Pekanbaru.
